During his twenty-nine years of experience, Jeff has developed an understanding of all aspects of general construction and construction management. Initially Jeff set out to study architecture but subsequently moved his interest toward the direct technical, rather than, design applications of construction, with aspirations of eventually supervising and managing projects. Beginning as a Carpenter with Racine based Nelson Inc; Jeff has been supervising projects since the third year of his apprenticeship, working his way into Field Management and Project Management. In 1992 Jeff became Division Manager of a large Kenosha based General Contractor, assigned with the responsibility of their new business development in the Milwaukee market. In the final year as Division Manager, the new Milwaukee Division (one of five overall divisions) was accountable for 42% of that year’s performance. By 1996 Jeff was offered the challenge of joining a small Racine based General Contractor, as President/COO. As President he introduced new accounting, management, scheduling, estimating and lead tracking systems. During his tenure as president he managed to more than quadruple the annual volume of the company to a $30-40 mill average and single largest year of appr. $63 mill with a 7th largest contractor ranking in, Southeastern Wisc. (as published by the Milwaukee Business Journal). His responsibilities include managing company operations, business development, quality assurance, interaction with Owner/Architect liaison, development of project schedules, monitoring progress and subcontractor performance reviews.
